Stained glass within the church at Domme.

  • The very old Catholic Church perched along the rocky cliff.
  • Old stonework of the church. The metal ornaments are connected to rods to hold the church together.

  • A view of the Dordogne River valley from Domme. The rocky cliffs of the village of La Roque Gageac are in the background.
  • Every French town had a memorial to the many killed in WWI but with additions of those killed in WWII. This memorial shows the names of those deported , those killed in combat, and those executed on the spot. Apparently French resistance was especially prevalent in this area during WWII.
  • A memorial to someone from Domme deported to a Nazi concentration camp during WWII.
