Lyon - The Old and the New

We took a "Hop On-Hop Off" bus tour around Lyon to make use of the partial day (and night) we spent there. Lyon has a reputation for excellent food and we certainly found that to be the case. We had a well-presented and delicious meal at a downtown brasserie called the Espace Brasserie. Lyon is also known for its silk industry which began in the 19th century.
